- Healthy Lakes Goals for 2021
- At the April 19, 2021 Commission Meeting, Lake District Commissioners approved the Statement Of Work proposal from Swimmers Itch Solutions, LLC to complete an assessment of the swimmers itch problem in North and South Twin. Drs. Curt Blankenspoor and Randall DeJong will inspect the waterfowl on the lake and collect and examine snails to confirm the “duck host” and “snail host” of the swimmers itch parasite in the Twins.
- Also new for 2021, is the ability to report to Swimmers Itch Solutions, LLC, both waterfowl broods and instances of swimmers itch experienced on our waters.
